The mini album of Grenouer called «Try» that was provided by the band at the end of the year can be treated as a nice present. Unfortunately, the single remains that maximum that the band can provide to the listeners now, after a terrible fire at the rehearsal point and the loss of absolutely all equipment. The CD is a step forward towards the listeners and peculiar teasing before the release of the new full-size album.
It has a nice sound (it can be envied by the other musicians), not a bad design, a multi media section and… It has only three songs. One, two, three – eleven minutes fly within a moment. On the other hand, the CD may be treated as an “attempt” of the musicians to experiment with the new styles.
Sometimes it is aggressive, sometimes «light», torn and more modern. The scream is sharp, it is no typical melodic metal scream – due to this the style of the band acquires the shades of core. In case of a PC finish the album would become TECHNO DEATH/CORE METAL.
It seems to me that the musicians spent less time to make the cover in comparison with the time dedicated to the album mastering, since it has a nice design. The image itself is a very pretty one. It clearly reflects the character of the album: something vivid with the mockery of equipment, half-robot-half-man of the modern times, like death metal with the mockery of techno music and the influence of core.
The CD is for sure worth listening to and not only once. It can be recommended to anyone. There will be only few indifferent people left.
